Our Purpose It is our firm conviction that the goal of each Christian believer is to further the work of God's Kingdom on this earth. We believe that this is best accomplished by using the spiritual gifts entrusted to us by God in the ministry to which He has called us. Hope Counseling Center is committed to being part of Christ's One Body in this community. We believe that God has called us to be agents of His healing grace in Santa Barbara County. Our purpose is to provide Christ-centered, biblically based counseling to individuals, couples, and families in our community. Every member of our counseling staff is a committed Christian, who has been professionally trained and licensed (or registered as an intern) by the State of California to provide psychological services, to engage in marriage and family therapy, and/or to engage in career counseling. Recognizing that lives are changed most effectively by the power of the Holy Spirit, it is our desire, through this counseling ministry, to bring the hope and healing that Jesus Christ offers to the people we serve.
